The History of St. Philip's Church has a brief biography of Peter Bross who was a cooper by trade and whose workshop was "near the Hudson River and north of the Brook Kedron." Brook Kedron is the brook which comes down Cat Rock Road (Rte 403) and empties out into the river in what was at the time The Arden Estate.
