John Peach Cruger married Elizabeth, the granddaughter of States Dyckman. He owned property adjacent to the Dyckman’s mansion known as Boscobel. The mansion was moved to Garrison, New York to save it from destruction in the 1960’s. The hamlet where both houses stood came to be known as Crugers.
